PJ Harvey show

Had a really nice time yesterday at The Crown Prince Couple Awards. Olafur Eliasson won the big prize. Much deserved.
Danish singer-songwriter Peter Sommer played a set followed by a solo perfomance by PJ Harvey. She was of course amazing and very cool. Among other things, she played three completely new, very beautiful songs on the piano.

Saw two great movies at the cinema.
Friday I went to se Thank You For Smoking. I have been reading a lot of positive things about it on different blogs, and it didn't dissappoint me. Actually it´s one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. Go see it and have a laugh.





Yesterday I saw Volver, the new movie by Pedro Almodovar. He's a great director and I love the special universe of his films, with colourful personalities and a perfect mix of drama and humour. This one, in my opinion, is among his best works.

PJ Harvey

I'm counting down the days. On sunday the 24th this woman, one of the best singer/songwriters of our time, will perform the first show in Denmark in six years.

This is truly a hit song. Been listening a lot to it lately.

Finished "A Home at the End of the World" by Michael Cunningham. A good novel with an unusual love story. I recommend it.
Now I'm trying to finish "Snow" by Orhan Pamuk. It's a hard one, in a way I really want to like it, but on the other hand it has not really turned out as a pageturner for me.
