Oldboy has a kind of a modern asian film noir feeling to it. Visually breathtaking and the most cruel and original manuscript. A masterpiece.

An hommage to the 70's exploitation movies. A lot of style, a lot of talk and hardly any story. But it's ok because it's all about having fun and watching some good action. However, a little more editing would have been good. Kurt Russel is good in the role as stuntman-mike.
